Luma-Touch, the company behind LumaFusion, the popular video editing app for iOS devices, has announced a major 2.0 update coming later this Spring.
LumaFusion is one of the most popular and most comprehensive editing apps available for iOS devices. The app has distinguished itself from other apps like iMovie by having more features that mimic desktop editing. By offering more video and audio tracks and more manual control of features within the app, LumaFusion enables you to do more sophisticated editing but still on your mobile device.
With the software update LumaFusion is looking to expand on those advantages by adding six more tracks for video or graphics and six more audio tracks. This means you'll be able to layer a lot more when you're editing. They have also added a variety of features for those tracks that are similar to those in more sophisticated editing platforms such as the ability to lock, mute, and solo the tracks. Another new feature will be the ability to create markers and comments which can be useful for making notes while you're editing either for yourself or others who will be working on the project.
The app is also getting an interface update to make it easier for users to work with, particularly on smaller devices.
Once the update is available we'll be reviewing it right here and we'll tell you what we think.
