Bravo has launched a new dining series on its website "Going Off the Menu." Watch the first episode here.

This is the kind of TV show you can make.  All you need is your camera, mics, a character, access, and discipline.  Bravo has launched a new series "Going Off the Menu" for web only and it looks like many pieces we've seen before.  The show stars renowned undergroun chef Russell Jackson and award-winning food documentarian Liza deGuia.

What is amazing about this show is how simple the concept is and how simple the execution is.  Watch this and you can identify 5 shot sequences throughout.  Disciplined shooting, paired with good storytelling make this show sucessful.

If you have an idea for a show, all you have to do is go and start producing it.  You may not get a deal from Bravo right away, but you will be able to get your product out there.

Don't just be a consumer, be a producer.  We can't wait to see your show next.

Check out the series here.

Viewership of TV news in general has fallen off, so naturally, TV executives across the boards are searching for a solution. How to appeal to a demographic that spends most of their time on social media?
